Before you begin:
How to create a Roofr Proposal
1) Create proposal
Tap the +Plus button in the lower navigation
Select Create proposal
Select the Roofr Report you would like to use for the proposal and tap Use this measurement
Select Create without measurement if you would like to create a proposal from scratch with no measurement totals attached
Select the template you would like to apply to the proposal and tap Use this template
💡 Roofr compiles your proposal by combining the roof measurements from your report with the material amounts specified in your catalog items and template.
2) Customize proposal
Tap Edit Option to edit and add estimate details including:
Line items
Sections
Upgrades
Tap Save to return to the Estimate page
Tap the ☰ More options icon to edit, add or reorder your proposal sections
Tap Add new section to add: Photos, PDF’s, Text pages or the measurement report
Tap the up arrow then the ⚙️ gear icon at the bottom of the page to edit the Estimate Settings:
profitability type
show/hide line item details
multi-select option
quantity rounding
financing (if integrated)
Tap the Supplier button to select the supplier and branch you would like to use for the items in this proposal (optional)
3) Preview and send
Tap the 👁️ icon to preview your proposal
From the preview tap the … Options Menu:
Sign now: Allows your customer to sign in person, right on your device
Download: Downloads a PDF version of the proposal to your device
or
Send: Opens an email modal to send the proposal to your customer for signature
💡 With Sign or Send, your customer will receive a signed copy of the proposal.
You can “cc” yourself on the proposal to receive a copy AFTER the proposal is signed.
How to delete a Proposal
From the proposal listing, tap the … Options menu and select Delete
Deleted proposals will be permanently deleted from the system along with associated metrics.
Customers will still have access to their signed proposals.
Any documents create FROM a deleted proposal will still exist in the Roofr account.
