How to manage Job Cards on Roofr Mobile

Learn how to set up and use Roofr Job Cards on your phone to capture your customer details, lead source data, write notes, create tasks, collaborate with your team and more - all at your fingertips!

How to Create a Job

Tap the +Plus button in the lower navigation

Select Create job > Enter the Job Address and optional Job Name > Tap Continue

šŸ“From the Job Board: Tap the +New button > Tap Job > Enter the job address and optional Job Name and tap Continue

šŸ’²From the Instant Estimator: When a lead comes in from the Instant Estimator, a new job record is created. Lead details are automatically captured in the job record

šŸ  From a Measurement Report: When a new measurement report is created, a corresponding job will be created in the 'New Lead' stage


Roofr Job Card Sections

Top Menu

šŸ•“ Activity Log: Shows all actions taken on the job in chronological order. Tap to jump to inbox or add a Note.

āž”ļø Directions Menu: Load the address in Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze or copy the address.

šŸ”µ Quick Actions: Tap to perform any action within the Job

Job Tags: Add or remove tags to classify this job

Job Contact: Add/edit contact information

Job Fields:

  • Job Address

  • Job Owner: Job owner will be credited with the Job value

  • Workflow & stages: Manually adjust the job stage with the drop down

  • Job Close Date: When a job reaches completion (ie: complete, lost). This is used for performance dashboard and reporting calculations that use a ā€˜job won’ date.

  • Job value: Linked to the instant estimator and proposals. This section will suggest values for you to add to the job based on either the instant estimate or proposal attached to the job.

  • Job source: Select where this job originated to track leads

  • Enter relevant Job details

Collapsible Job Sections:

Insurance

  • Toggle on the Insurance Field to use it on the job

  • Enter insurance details: Company, policy/account, claim number, etc

Tasks

  • Add a checklist item that helps you track job progress by allowing you to add descriptions, assign responsibilities to team members, and set due dates. Learn more about managing job tasks HERE.

Events

  • View your Calendar or quickly add an event directly from the job card. Learn how to link your Roofr Calendar with your Google Calendar HERE.

Measurements

  • View a summary of all of the measurements associated with the job at a glance. Tap to create a new report within the job. Learn more about ordering Roofr reports HERE.

Proposals

  • View a list of the proposals associated with the job at a glance. Tap to create a new proposal. Learn more about creating Roofr proposals HERE.

PDF Signer

  • View the documents associated with this job. Tap to create a new document.

Material Orders

  • View the Material Orders associated with this job. Tap to create a new material order.

Work Orders

  • View a list of the work orders associated with this job. Tap to create a new work order.

Financials

  • View a list of the invoices associated with the job at a glance. Tap to create a new invoice.

  • Job Costing: View projected and actual costs on this job. Learn more about managing job costing HERE.

Attachments

  • View a list of the attachments associated with the job at a glance. Tap to create a New folder, upload a file, or take a photo from your device. (Max file size 20mb)

Instant Estimate

  • View and edit the information of the instant estimate for this job (only on Roofr Elite). Learn more about Roofr Instant Estimator HERE.
